This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data collected through the Logogrind website at https://logogrind.com, in the Logogrind application, and when you contact us or buy a plan.

Cookies and consent

We use a small number of strictly necessary items (for example, to remember your cookie choice) that do not require consent. We load Google Analytics only after you opt in through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Policy page or the "Cookie preferences" link in the website footer. Declining analytics does not affect your ability to use the site.

Service providers we share data with

We use the following processors to run the website and the product. Each processes data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards:

• Our payment provider — payment processing and invoicing.
• Google Analytics (Google) — website usage analytics, loaded only with your consent.
• Our hosting and email providers — to deliver the website and application, send transactional emails, and store support correspondence.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

International transfers

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep data

We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active, and delete it on request — see our data deletion page. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards. Order and invoice records are kept for the statutory retention period, which in Germany is up to 10 years (Section 147 AO, Section 257 HGB). Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing already carried out). To exercise any of these rights, email support@logogrind.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Our competent supervisory authority is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit); you may also contact the authority where you live.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and trusted payment infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.

Children

Logogrind is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
